Staten Island’s newest hotel, the Comfort Inn, located at 310 Wild Avenue, SI,NY 10314 Held their First Business Networking, Suit Drive and Open house, This is WBCLDC’s 5th Pre-Conference event promoting the 8th Annual Business Woman Conference , titled, Invent and Re-Invent Yourself!, and includes a suit drive to benefit Staten Island men and women, both young adults and unemployed.
Among the women who orchestrated this open house were BUCKS member Maryann Piazza of Majestic Vending & Services Inc ( & Angela A. D’Aiuto, Executive Director of the West Brighton Local Development Corporation,  (, BUCKS member Anne Colangelo of the Comfort Inn donated the space for the event ( and Evelyn Rogers of A Taste of Honey provided the refreshments (  

The Suit Up and Succeed Program aims to provide suits, career development resources, and mentoring to Staten Islanders. This program compliments existing workforce training and education programs on Staten Island, such as the Career Coaching Program at McKee High school. Career development resources assist two groups- young women and men between the ages of 17 to 24 and adults returning to the workforce or beginning a career.
